Neon Tommy has a birth certificate, but you sure can’t find a legitimate one for our President.

Congratulations on the start-up. Keep it fair and balanced.

  2. Howie Says:

Correction: the state of Hawaii has produced a legitimate birth certificate for the President. One the state has declared legitimate. You just sure can’t accept that.

  4. Woody Says:

Correction: the state of Hawaii has NOT produced a legitimate birth certificate.

Obama fought every legal effort to force him to produce a legitimate birth certificate, and he never did. The Democratic governor of Hawaii placed the birth records under seal to block access by the media or citizens. Later, the “original” (cough, cough) produced by the state is quite questionable and does not contain the proper seal and the one shown by the Daily Kos contained clear tampering. Apparently, they have learned to practice Chicago politics in Hawaii.

But, don’t worry. The MSM never pursued the issue, as they didn’t many others concerning Obama and his connections, so he’ll remain our first alien president.

  5. Randy Paul Says:

I’m breaking my silence to Woody to point this out: the governor of Hawaii is a Republican:

Governor Lingle is the sixth elected Governor of Hawai‘i. She is the first mayor, first woman and first person of Jewish ancestry to be Governor. She is also the first Republican to lead the Aloha State in more than 40 years. In November 2005, she was awarded the Diversity Best Practices Award for Leadership in Government – the first such award for a state’s chief executive.

Such is the quality of the erudition in the wingnut fever swamp.

  6. Woody Says:

I’m sorry. I’m also told that Sen.Specter is a Republican, but who can be sure. However, I did find this in further searching:

Under Hawai‘i’s state law (Hawai‘i Revised Statutes §338-18), copies of vital records may only be released to those who have a tangible relationship to the person whose record is being sought. Neither the Governor’s office, nor any other office in the State of Hawai’i, can provide information concerning birth certificates, or produce birth certificates, to anyone except those who are listed in the law governing vital statistics records.

But, we do know that Obama is a Democrat and that he blocked the release of the birth certificate–maybe because an original doesn’t exist.

Now, if all you have is to correct the party of an official, an incidental tidbit, then you don’t have much.

Neon Tommy looks lavish. Who’s picking up the tab?

  8. passing through Says:

You just sure can’t accept that.

Of course he can; he’s just a trolling asshole pretending he can’t.

  9. Randy Paul Says:

It stands to reason that certain basic facts are wrong, that it’s indicative of overall shoddy work.

    Silence is now restored.

  10. Woody Says:

There’s a Klan resurgence, and this time it’s liberals donning the sheets. Hey, is that Sen. Byrd?!

  11. Woody Says:

Indicative, Randy? Hardly. The truth is that you can’t find error in the substance so you pick on one point and shout, “See! See!” I bet you wet your pants over that one. How pathetic.

  15. Justa Noobie Says:

I don’t like Neon Tommy the way it is right now.

Mostly because it’s…well…too neon and cutesy.
Also, because it was launched on the premise that it would be the one-stop shop for LA news.

No. Can’t see that happening, but I’d like it to work out. Good luck. Work on the web design, it needs it.

  18. Marc Cooper Says:

We’re actually talking about Obama’s birth certificate? Have we exhausted the topic of whether the earth is flat?

For those who commented re Neon Tommy:

Actually it is NOT lavish. It is quick and dirty and is a placeholder for a more sophisticated site being built for the fall.

The “tab” is picked up by USC as it a school site.

We make no pretensions as suggested that we are “one stop” for L.A. news. NT is a student managed site that wants to HELP fill the hole in news coverage. Period.

  19. Woody Says:

BB and MC, well, let’s talk about John Kerry’s war wounds or Bill Clinton’s affair. Liberals love to”move one” rather than hostely clear up doubts.

  20. Bill Bradley Says:

Oh, I think we’ll put up John Kerry’s war record against all those far right loons who suffered from turf toe and sleep apnia.

You should find a hobby. Perhaps model airplane building.

  21. Randy Paul Says:

Where are the three billy goats gruff when you need them.

  22. Dan O Says:

We’re actually talking about Obama’s birth certificate?

Only if you define “we” very, very narrowly.

  23. Woody Says:

BB: …we’ll put up John Kerry’s war record against all those far right loons who suffered from turf toe and sleep apnia.

Actually, the latter two are worse than the Kerry’s self-reported and so-called “wounds” for a pass out of Viet Nam.

Isn’t a shame that journalists who pretend to know so much are just loud pompous talkers for the left with no practical experience or honesty about their own warts.

The majority of today’s population can’t imagine a life without computer systems. Computers and their application have been closely entwined with our day to day lives. Where demands improve, supplies automatically increase too. The elevated usage of computer and its applications demand an elevated number of computer professionals.
