Indie is good — if you want to remain on the sidelines during primaries when so much is important.
I was Libertarian, which isn’t so far from indie — but am glad now to be a Rep and more likely help determine the messenger of the Rep party (pro-democracy first; tax cuts second; pro-life third), if there’s doubt.
And I a Democrat in case there’s a doubt. Third parties can win a governorship every now and then. They still tend to be millionaires though. Politics is no longer a poor person’s game.
What we need is ELECTION REFORM—candidates should have equal and free access to all media. Without election reform our political candidates suffer from a serious health condition known as “Daniel Webster and the Devil Syndromeâ€â€”it’s known to effect ALL who take public office.
There is no known cure, and all prescribed medications for this malady quickly become contaminated, corrupted and thus needs to be discarded.
