I'll be on C-Span Book TV live today at 12 noon PST. From The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, I'll be moderating a panel of four authors on California-centered biographies. Tune in or TiVo.

Caught your panel on tv Marc, and I was happy to see you looking so trim and fit. I saw you and Nader at last years’ festival and noticed a dramatic difference. Stay healthy.
Sure wish I could attend the Festival of Books this year, Marc, but my husband and I are busy going to hell in a handbasket (in fact, I haven’t made the payment on our handbasket this month). I’m sure you’ll do just fine. Give my regards to Carl.
Hey, when are we going to get a post on the good Reverend Wright’s sagacious and learned disquisitions before the Detroit NAACP and the National Press Club?
Thanks for the comments.
No question that the LATimes Festival has seen better days. There was a general consensus among those I spoke to that this year’s event lacked sufficient fizz. I agree.

The Bookfest is going to hell! LA needs Wasserman back.

I liked the panel. Rayner’s books seems like the one to read.
