Democratic Debate — Live Blogging 11:45 a.m.
With 15 minutes to go before the forum begins, I find out this bit of news. Apparently, not even the event organizers - the AFSCME union-- takes the coming speeches by the candidates very seriously.
They've set up the format in an odd way. After each candidate appears, solo, on stage to be asked a few questions by Stephanapolous, he or she will immediately come backstage to where we media are camped to take some of our questions. In other words, if you want to see any of the candidates close up and query them, you have to miss out on the other candidate's formal presentation.
Now that's really smart, isn't it?

catch some camera time. His powerful union plans to endorse sometime in early summer. "We're gonna drill down deeper than we did last time," he says referring to AFSCME's early 2004 endorsement of Howard Dean.
I'd be surprised if ASCME doesn't go with Hillary. McEntee has long been a big time Clinton supporter. I doubt if his loyalties will waver.
