Flags

Here's a follow-up straggler coming in from Monday's May Day postings: Rolling Stone's Tim Dickinson followed the immigrant marchers through San Francisco and reflected on all the hooyah about who's carrying whose flags. Tim also snapped the photo.

   I have a premonition that the ending scene from Tim Burton’s “Mars Attacks,” showing a Mariachi band playing our National Anthem on the steps of our destroyed Capitol, will actually happen.

   I want to know why there hasn’t been some organized rally for those of us who do not mind people from all countries coming to live in America, but do mind a large hord of them pushing their native language and their flag down the throat of America. The freedoms we have here have been used against us.
