Rutten on Woodward: 'Decadent...Bankrupt'
Kudos to the L.A. Times' media columnist Tim Rutten who's got a very tough and bristly piece out today on Bob Woodward. This is precisely the kind of stuff the Times needs to be doing. A world better than the lilliputian line-up the paper came up with last week for its re-jiggered and dumbed-down op-ed pages.

Woodard may not have been called previously by the Grand Jury, but clearly, he withheld information that was being sought by Judge Fitzgerald. For doing that, he is surely guilty of something - perhaps negligence, and he added to the cost of the court that is being financed by the American taxpayer. He must be held accountable.

Woodward should be held accountable for negligence as he withheld vital information to the Grand Jury. Remember, the American taxpaper is being charged with the bill.

Enjoy it while you can, dear readers. Tim will probably be urged to take the buyout.
