Randy, as someone who doesn’t read Kevin Drum on Fridays because of the, you know, CATS !!!!, I have to demur. Even a stupefyingly stupid bastard – like an infinite number of monkeys – can stumble on some useful policy intitiatives occasionally.

It’s funny, I grew up with cats and enjoyed their independence, their playfulness and that deadly curiousity. After being away from them for years, when I visited my mom a few years ago, I discovered I’d developed an allergy to them.

Maybe Bush bombed the levees in New Orleans to extract confessions from the terrorists. More effective would be tying up the terrorists and letting Barbara Boxer disrobe and plant kisses all over them–which isn’t far off from what the Democrats do now.
