The Trial of Jesse James Hollywood: Up Close and Personal

hollywood1

It feels great to watch my own daughter progress as a writer. To have someone in the family doing such excellent writing relieves me of any guilt about not working as hard as I used to. Don’t have to with talent like this around.

Take a gander at Natasha’s report on the opening week of the murder trial of the notorious Jesse James Hollywood — the so-called “Alpha Dog.”  His 15 year old victim was a close chum of hers.  It’s a good read.

Excellent piece, Marc; you should be proud.

I spent a week in Saquarema on vacation apparently at the same time JJH was a fugitive there. It was a smart place for him to hide; it’s one of Brazil’s best surfing destinations and filled with gringos.

Hope he rots in jail for the rest of his life. His whole family seems to have a moral screw loose.

You have good reason to be a very proud father.

I think she is a chip off the block

    Thanks!

Any thoughts on the departure of Laurie Ochoa from the LA Weekly? Your blog opus of some time ago has made you a go-to person for commentary on this sort of thing.
