Watchdog Them Doggies
On the cusp of the mid-term elections, sleuthing out just who your congress rep is and who he or she is connected up to is more relevant than ever.
My friends over at the Sunlight Foundation now provide an easy-to-use tool so you and anyone else can find out where their Congress members get their money from, how loaded they are, how they spend their loot as well as how much they play with lobbyists and corporate bribe-givers.
Please take a moment and check out the online tutorial of Watchdogging 101: A How-to Guide for Citizen Oversight. It's fun. It's patriotic.

Speaking of watchdogs. . .
I see where Maureen Dowd has a profile of Jon Stewart and Steve Colbert that opens with her saying how they must be nervous since she is the “real” commentator and they’re fake. Stewart: “I didn’t know you had to be high for this.”
Wonderful - its Maureen’s world. We just live in it.

This is great, great news — so most folks can see the difference between tweetlerich and tweetlericher.
It’s really too bad more Dems weren’t more in favor of the transparancy bill.
Thanks for fantastic Kerry note, too.
