Marc, too bad you’re doing other things. Otherwise, we could be discussing Kerik’s withdrawal from the nomination to head Homeland Security.
It appears that Karik has been hit by another “nanny” problem that has created problems for other nominees for two decades. My guess is it’s more than that.
Well, now is the time to suggest nominees rather than criticize them after the fact. Maybe Bush will nominate Gary Hart!
What is it with the frickin’ nannies! Jeez, people. This kind of crap reminds almost everybody in the entire country that the rich and powerful are completely different from everyone else.
Ain’t the nannies who are “frickin’” It’s the motherloving affluent individuals who hire them. But then it’s hard to believe they do it to save money; they just don’t trust the certified and bonded caretakers with personality disorders or dishonest intents.
Marc, was referring (in jest!) to your article in the L.A. Weekly a few months back, about you’re favorite blackjack dealer, and your nice little run at the table. Just an article I remember fondly. What you’re working on for PBS reminded me of it. Enjoy the desert!
